The thunderstorm yesterday delayed the rugby training but we did managed to work things out.
Today, the PJC rugby squad had 3 matches against the alumni of Unity Secondary. We lost all 3 games and didn't score a try. One of the reasons was that I didn't play due to my injury but people would agree with that statement to a very small extent. Mr Kwok issued the black and red jerseys to me and my number is 30. He also told me that he will rest me for the first 2 games against ACJC and RJC. Thanks to my injury.
In the afternoon, I met Raja and then we went to Queensway Shopping Centre as I wanted to buy a new pair of boots. I bought a cheap one (Kelme) for only $39.90. Surely it will be torn sooner or later. No point buying expensive ones. We ate at Anchorpoint and then took 198 to Boon Lay.From there,we walked to Sheng Siong foodcourt to have dinner.

The cleanest and 'greenest' toilet I've seen.

Yesterday was a bloody day. When I said 'bloody', I really mean it.
I had a deep cut on my inner lips on the upper side. How did it happen? As I was about to get low to tackle the player, that player's head crashed onto my mouth. The damn fucking impact forced my teeths to cut the surface of my lips. It was really painful and blood kept gushing out of that cut. I couldn't even rinse my mouth with water. The feeling was sensational. I went to CCK polyclinic, the various clinics at Gek Poh and Westpoint Hospital. I only heard excuses. In the end, my mum brought me to NUH A&E. The waiting time was long; we spent more than 4 hours there at night. The doctor stitched that cut. The treatment was fine. After that, we had to wait for more than an hour for the nurse to give the appointment time and date and MC. But we gave up and went home as it was already 1.30am.

Today, I still went to school despite that ugly and gory figure of my mouth. The ruggers are really compassionate people, at least to me. Many people kept asking me about it. I also attended PE lesson which we tried long jump. After school, I went to NUh again to have a review with the dentist. My teeths are okay but I will have to go for an appointment on 2nd April to have X-ray. 2nd April is our first rugby match and the coach had already included me into the first squad. Damn it.
The true Sheikh will be back soon...

I'm feeling the pressure now!
I will soon suffer both academically and physically.
More and more tests coming up.
The rugby Police Cup will start next month.
Haiyo...not much time to write somemore.
I'm tired of studying and want to sleep now.

Super Weekend...

Jamming with Nazreen, Raja and Zaki...

I'm Emo-ing

Sheikh the lead singer and guitarist.

Playing the drum

Friendly match: Singapore VS Australia

I had a great time today but I am sad to say that both birds in my house had died. I did feed them. I don't know how they died. I had KFC for breakfast before meeting up with Zaki,Raja and Naz for jamming. It was their first time. We played anyhow for the first 30 minutes but then we tried out one of my composed songs entitled 'Chandelier'. The drumming by Nazreen suited the song. We had difficulties in sorting out the rhythm for the guitars but in the end, we managed to complete the song nicely but there are things we need to improve on definitely. It was our first time anyway but we came out with something meaningful. Zaki and Raja headed to the town while Nazreen and I ate at KFC for lunch ( for the second time). We went home quickly and then we met Phattzion at 5pm to go to National Stadium to watch a match. The match ended 0-0. Back to Jurong,we ate McDonald's at Pioneer Mall. I ate fast-food throughout the day!OMG!

Tweety!

Haisshh....tsk tsk....
My dad is indeed a pet lover. He bought cats, arowana fishes and now 2 birds.
Worst still, he told me to take care of them while he is having holidays in Johor with my family.
I have no experience in feeding birds. We went to grandparents' house today. My grandma cooked kacang pool. Then I went to Asyakirin mosque while the rest of my family members went to the ferry terminal. After that, I met Raja at JP to have lunch. I am so frustrated with Zaki ( I bet he will read this ) ;whenever I ask him to go out, he would say that he had other plans etc...3 hours or so...HAha! At home where there was no one around, I had karaoke alone and also recorded my singing of my composed songs. Tomorrow, my friends and I will be jamming. Long time never do that.

It rained halfway through my journey to school this morning. The day started off very brightly especially for me and Syafiq, but I won't tell why. We wish everyday could be like this. During PE, we were motivated by many things (and some people) that the both of us finished the top 2 positions for the 2.4km run. I was daydreaming while running that Syafiq told me that I ran 7 laps instead of 6. Poor thing that we didn't choose to stay in Arts stream. Even that, we wished that those who are taking CEG subject combination could be in the same class as ours.

By the way,Wednesday rugby training was like hell as every pair carried a bench on their shoulders and ran 8 laps around the track. After every lap, we did push ups, jumping jags etc...
The hockey and touch rugby girls were there to boost our morale. We overcame those hell eventually. Today, I spent more than $50 on locker, Owens shirt,Polo Tee and food. After school, some ex-Westwoodians collected their O level certificates. We did interact with some teachers and students. Missed them. Mdm Alice had gone home and Ms Joy Chen was having lesson while we were there. After that, I joined Phattz to play soccer and then at night we brought along our laptops to Pioneer Mall McDonald's. We had connection problems...

Happy Good fRIDAY!

Tuesday, March 18, 2008

From now on I'll be the first few to arrive during assembly.

Don't ask me why; it's for the sake of brightening my day.

Don't understand? Nevermind. Syafiq understood my objective.

My form teacher has not come to school this week.

Lessons today were okay and the best one of course was during Maths tutorial. The boys couldn't focus. As for Chem lecture, I tried to pay attention but my brain couldn't digest those content. I had lunch at cafe with Syafiq,Siti and Atiqah before going home. I read Chem notes in the bus but fell asleep.

Monday, March 17, 2008

Well, Monday Blues as always. Today, my time-table ended at 6pm. But that was not over. I had to join the rigorous rugby training which ended at 8pm. Anyway, this morning, the JC1s received the Project Work A-Level question paper. The two questions are 'Journeys' and 'Modernisation'. I don't know which topic to choose. PW is 10% of A- Level score and it is a requirement to enter university. My class' house is Owens (light blue). Syafiq and I were disgusted and annoyed. We expected to get into others but too bad. And I still need to buy a new House tee. More money needed to pay for rugby kits. My classmates slacked during PE lesson; the teacher only took our heights and weights and then talked about expectations of PE. Tomorrow should be a fine day. I heard from Wei Yang that the O-Level certs are out.

Golfing at Golf Course

Sheikh Arfahmi swinging like a pro

This morning, my family had breakfast at Bishan and then we went to the golf course. It was my first time over there and my first time swinging it outdoor. My dad is really good at swinging it over long distances. My brother got his swinging techniques right except that he couldn't swing it long enough. As for me, I practised my swinging and maintain the right body posture without the ball. My first few attempts were suck as expected because I was just learning it. When my shot went over the 50-metre mark for the first time, I gained my composure and kept doing it consistently. My best shot so far was the one that dropped just a few metres in front of the 100-metre signboard. Great experience indeed! My family always go there every weekend.

I got a haircut this afternoon. Damn it that I have a high slope. I forgot to tell the barber not to cut it like that. But nevermind as long as I can definitely pass the attire check when school reopen. I had McDonald's for lunch alone. I spent the late afternoon doing the 800-word History essay. Actually, I had completed it a few days ago but it was only 500 words. So I redo it all over again. I'm going to Kiong's house later to watch EPL with Phattz.

Rugby Training

The training was really intensive and exhausting from the start but towards the end, things got a little easy. Anyway, my mum said that there was an accident involving a police car on the road opposite my block at 3.30am this morning. I wasn't aware. There were 3 police cars speeding on the road bend but one of the cars crashed onto a tree and was flipped upside down. The victim was trapped inside and the unharmed officers broke the car roof to rescue the victim.

Everyone on the muddy pitch got dirty. I love today's training session. My coach Mr Kwok said a joke before training.
"Do you know Mas Selamat was captured this morning at SJI?" he asked.
"Oh really ah? Finally!" the players replied.
" Mas Selamat thought that SJI was Singapore Jemaah Islamiyah and so he stayed there", Mr Kwok continued. And we all laughed. Most of us thought that it was true.
After training, we bathed as always and then ate at Lot 1. The rain continued, heavier at that time. I went to Raja's house again. Used his computer and also played guitar. Nothing much to do. We would have played soccer if not for the rain. No plans tomorrow. I want to complete my assignments. Syafiq conceded that it is difficult especially Chemistry. I have just wrote another song just now.
By the way,
HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY, MY SISTER!!!
May Allah bless you...

Raja,Hamizan,Zaki and I went to CCK gym
Wanted to play soccer but the rain spoilt our plan
After eating at Limbang,we went to Zaki's house
Played Winning Eleven
Rugby training for JC1s tomorrow
JC2s don't have to come as they have to revise for Common Tests
Planning to watch S-League match this Friday at Jalan Besar
Probably there will be a match for Phattzion this Saturday

This cat loves to relax at my doorstep

Monday Blue once again
No outings with friends
No fun in the rain
Will this ever end?
Malaysia election is in doubt
Uncle Sheikh Arziman's BN party
Faced the unexpected flop
This is reality
I went to Gek Poh CC
To complete those assignments
Studying has become ecstacy
While I have other commitments
Maths and Econs were finished
Left with History and Chemistry
Chemistry is damn difficult
I have to revise it over again

Practising playing golf at home. I can't remember how many hole-in-one I had put in.

I'd swim the ocean for you ,the ocean for you, Whoa...oh Kelsey!

The rugby camp was indeed intensive but it was fun.We treated the school like a pub, bathed inside girls toilet..etc... There were lectures for us to learn more about rugby. On the second day,the seniors had NAPFA test but the coach told me to join them. I wasn't mentally prepared. I did okay but I want to retake a couple of stations. I played for the starting 15 against 2 teams of alumni. We had barbeque on the second night. This morning, we ran more than 5km around Bukit Panjang area. Then, the starting 15 thrashed the reserves during a match. I ate McDonald's with some other friends after dismissal and then went home. Nobody was at home.
When my family came back, they bought 2 bags of golf sets and a carpet mat that has a hole. My dad has one for himself. I was thinking 'what the hell? Buy these things for what?'. They spent almost $500 while shopping at HarbourFront. I kept asking my parents for a new pair of boots but they said 'no money' and now, they spent on unnecessary stuffs.

History lesson was slightly better. We went to the gym during PE lesson. The Head of Student Management demoralised me when he told me to lift double my weight but I couldn't do it. I managed to do it then when he wasn't there. I met my new classmates. All of them are courteous but thankfully there are no chio babes for me to admire. Malay lesson was boring.Maths lesson was great but I forgot to bring my graphic calculator. I had a snack at cafe before meeting Raja and Hamizan at CCK polyclinic. Raja is sick today. Then, we went to his house and later Zaki came. We held debates about many issues with Zaki the opposition. They went to Sunshine Place as I took bus home. When I reach home,I quickly packed my stuffs for the rugby camp tomorrow, which will end on Sunday morning. At 6pm, I studied at Gek Poh CC. I also did my Economics holiday assignments except the last section.

The Headstart programme was not bad.
I like the first session about personal grooming. The other one about business communication was okay.At least I learnt something from this programme.During assembly, the Student Council spoke about the various committees and encouraged us to join the SC. I won't for sure.
Then I had rugby training. I still need to improve my passing. The JC1s played a number of games against Greenridge teams in the rain. My teammates praised my good performance.Probably the reason was that there were touch rugby girls on the field ,hence giving psychological boost.Hehe.My coach Mr Kwok informed us about the rugby camp this weekend. After bathing, some ruggers went to Lot 1 to have dinner.

When I arrived home,I saw a cat at my doorstep. It is so adorable and responsive. It is not fierce at all! I want it!

My family have a new maid. I hope this will reduce my burden. I hate ironing clothes. There is PE lesson tomorrow. I don't mind having PE but what I hate is that my break is only 30 minutes.

Nothing much to say today
It is the rainy season
Lots of stuff to pay
When my mum has not received commission

$145 for graphic calculator
$16 for rugby short
$15 for rugby camp
$8 for House T-shirt

Headstart Programme tomorrow!
No lesson
But have to go for rugby training
Surely reach home late again

The graphic calculator

Monday, March 03, 2008

I had Big Mac for breakfast before going to school. My break for today was quite late at 11am and it was also the time when I ended my lessons. While waiting for the rugby training to start at 3.30pm,I did my homework and also read newspaper. Today's training was light. We didn't run the canal route. There will be a rugby camp from 7 to 9 March.

Civil Defence Force stationing outside PJC. The search for Mas Selamat?

More SCDF vehicles heading towards PJC

I was walking towards the bus stop. Police cars were also heading to that area.Mas Selamat used to stay in Teck Whye. The jungle behind PJC is quite big. The railway track is also located there. Anyway, I have to ask a 'huge' amount of money from my parents. Tomorrow is the sale of graphic calculators which costs $145 each. I need $27 for bus concession, $16 for FBT rugby shorts, $7.90 for House T-shirt and also some money for the rugby camp. And not to forget my pocket money!

Sunday, March 02, 2008

Sunday is a family day but my family are not at home as they went to KL.
They should be on their way home now.Perhaps there is a congestion at the checkpoint.
Thanks to Mas Selamat's The Great/Sweet Escape. He has yet to be captured.
Anyway, Nazreen and I went to Raja's house. It was raining heavily during the trip.
Hamizan came a few hours later. Then, we played soccer.
I hate those Mat Reps from CCK. There was one guy who even scold vulgarities when I had a slight contact with him. He is younger than me but he should be grateful enough that I didn't retaliate. Damn you son of the *****! I think your mum's pussy is filled with different sperms.
Nevermind, it's useless dealing with that LOSER. I have better things to think of.
We walked to Lot 1 and from there,Naz and I went home. JC tomorrow.I had a hard time ironing the uniform. And remember to bring tie!

What are they watching?

Saturday, March 01, 2008

I'm stucked at home the whole day. My family and grandparents went to KL this afternoon except my sister and I. I had completed my homework and was planning to hang out with friends but there's nowhere to go. Seriously nothing better to do. I managed to compose a new song. After that, with nothing better to do, I read essays about terrorism and Cold War. Nothing special today. So why am I blogging anyway?

Then I decided to change blogskin.

So lonely...

Mas Selamat, please feature in front of me...
