Countdown 2011!

Such a wonderful 2010. A year free from studies (except BTT, FTT & SCDF tests), the year I got my driving licence, admission to NUS, a smartphone, made lots of new friends and so on. My NSF life so far has been wonderful overall. To be honest I feel very fortunate that my camp is nearby, to be working with dedicated colleagues and I don't feel tortured at all, even during recruit life. 5 weeks of BRT is nothing compared to a few sessions of rugby training =D

Another thing which makes me feel better is the trust my parents have towards me. They allow me to travel overseas without them, allow me to drive their cars, allow me to come home late when I hang out with friends. They do care about my whereabouts obviously but their trust on me is strong. And I promise not to ever let them down.
As for my siblings, my elder sister has started working. Hope that she'll treat me to more concerts. My younger sister, who scored 242 for her PSLE, got into Crescent Girls. So proud of her although she is not the study type and always surf Facebook with her iPhone. My PSLE score was only 192 but heck care, I got into uni. My younger bro will be taking his PSLE next year. I trust he would be smarter. My mum got Diploma before he was born.

And the latest news for me is that I was selected to work at DB Admin. That means I'll be working office hours again. My time spent with Bravo Guards was worthwhile. We had so many outings. Good luck to Bravo and thanks for your everything! Their teaching and guidance when I work at DB is very much appreciated.

Had a wonderful primary school reunion on Tuesday!
Ate at Lau Pa Sat and witnessed stallholders arguments over tauting.
Time well spent!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Met some of the ruggers, intended to lepak at town but it turned out that we went to Zouk. Yeah I drank - Coke. Not bad actually but it's just too packed. Cabbed home. It was never my intention to drive anyway. BTW, my leaves have ended. Have to report for night duty later on.

Thursday, December 16, 2010

ATTENTION:
I'll be free on 19,20,21,22,23,24,27,& 28 December.
Work ends @ 10pm on New Year's Eve so I'll still be able to go for the countdown.
=D

Dear Music,

Songs nowadays kinda sux.
Seriously, where is that passion?
Where is that X factor that soothes our feelings and cater to our emotions.
Is there any new song at the moment that could make you cry or even reflect about the things around you?
Quite difficult to think about it.
Most songs today are about disco, what people do before, during and after a party and depicts how easy to get a girl and get laid.
Older songs tends to be different. Most lyrics then were about how to win a girl's heart, how to overcome the battle of their lives, how they reflect upon the mistakes they have done and so on. The instruments played were beautiful and the voice were sincere.
Now, we have technology and songs are created just by adding loops and voices are autotuned. And if most of have realised, in an album, usually only one or two are your favourites. The rest? Nahh... it's not worth buying the whole album. That's why we rather download, illegally or not, not my problem. And we keep wondering "How come the number hits is not the best selling album?"
Well, I'm here to critic but just asking WHERE ARE THE GOOD QUALITY MUSIC? I know you are still out there. Go mainstream please.

Love,
Music addict

Tired TTM...
Work ended at 10pm yesterday.
Clement, Royston and Joey lepak at my house to watch soccer.
Went to a Cheese Prata shop at West Coast at 2am.
Reached home at 4am.
Had to wake up at 7am to fetch my younger siblings from grandparents' house and send them to religious class.
Have to work afternoon shift on a Sunday =(
No life.
Btw, I've changed phone.
Samsung Galaxy S =D
Go to hell with iPhone 4. Always no stock.

MEOW...

Went to JP. iPhone 4 out of stock.
But there are other interesting offers too.
Don't know which one to choose.
In need of a smartphone with 3G Plan!

Contract gonna end soon.
Feel really bored especially during night shifts.
Need some entertainment and stay connected.
Stick with SingTel for the sake of stronger connection.

Lance Corporal Sheikh

Gonna be promoted tmr! Can't wait to catch up with others from my intake.
I'm working night shift tonight and have to take charge of muster parade tmr as well.
Spent the afternoon ironing my No.4 uniform, with layers of starch applied to it.
Got a new haircut as well in the morning.
I need some rest and somewhere to chill.
Somewhere only we know...

NIGHT SHIFTS ON SATURDAY & SUNDAY -_-

Gonna miss this weekend's Premier League =(

Thursday, October 28, 2010

My working shifts- 2 morning, 2 afternoon, 2 night, 2 off.
The work itself is okay, just the timing.
When my friends are free, I'm not.
When I am free, they're not.
I could feel that I'm becoming more antisocial.
When friends asked me to go out, I usually couldn't make it.
I'll live this way till 2012.
But people like me always have wishful thinking and most of the time it came true.
I hope to get back to admin when my seniors ORD next Feb.
My Commandant compliment me for my work thus far and I'll just have to keep up the good work.
But if this wish fails, then be it.
Coz I have a team who treat each other like brothers.
We watched Paranormal Activity 2 last night. The movie sucks though.
Speaking of which, I have been hanging out only with boys for the past few months.
And in my inbox, I've not received sms-es from girls for 2 months.
This gotta change. I'm slaying away from what I used to be.
I hope all these are temporary.
No point saying FML. It has been that way all the time but I'll try to cherish all the positive things that happened and will happen.

Wednesday, October 13, 2010

Tmr shall be my last day in office.
Gonna miss my colleague and Enciks there.
They've been good.
Really had an enjoyable time with them, gyming after work and so on.
Seize the day...

Mom is going to Terengganu and she allows me to drive Toyota Wish =D =D =D
Will be Provost Guard officially at 2200 hrs on 15/10/10.
Whatever I do, I'll make sure the detainees won't look for me outside when they finish their sentence.

Tuesday, October 12, 2010

Well, what to do?
Who am I? I'm just a Private.
Who am I to question Lieutenant-Colonel decision?
Though he seems like a puppet ruler.
Anyway, fuck it. Move on and begin a new chapter.
Too much politics in office.
Goodbye to my Provost Admin post. I'm gonna miss office hours.
Now I'm a Provost Guard. Shift duty. Hope I can adapt fast.
I know I don't deserve this treatment, especially in a short time notice.
It was only yesterday that I knew about it.
Thank you Enciks for trying to defend and fight for me.
But there's a hierarchy.

Sunday, October 10, 2010

My friends were right.
I've made the right choice.
I used to hate their advice and followed my own way.
Thankfully, things aren't that complicated.
For there's always a chance for me to redeem
Those intangible things
With a prayer, faith and dream.
I'm still the same person a normal friend would know.
The difference this time lies in my ambition
Which have yet to take place.

Friday, October 08, 2010

Mom and Dad went to KL to celebrate my cousin's wedding. My younger sister is in a middle of her PSLE while my bro's SA2 will start next week.So I'll have to look after them, ensuring that they do revision. But what are they doing now? One is facebooking and the other is making houses out of ice-cream sticks. All the Best!
NS life is as good as always. It's like I've been rewarded a good 2 years of rest after 2 years of hell studying for A levels. Gonna be a boring weekend for sure. No car for me to drive and still no plans to lepak.Still waiting for my HomeTeam NS card. Driving license have to wait one month later. More upcoming tests to come - IPPT and PPCT. Pass these two and I'll continue to get skill allowance. Gonna be promoted to Lance Corporal in November. Phone contract going to end soon. Thinking of which phone to buy. But for sure, it's gonna be 3G plan. And NSF will get unlimited SMSes. =)
Anyone who wanna go outing whatsoever, do contact me! Seriously, I've got nothing to do. ;)

Licensed To Drive

Passed BTT at the first time, Passed FTT at the second time, Passed TP at the third time.
Took 10 months to complete everything. Spent around $1500. Now I'm broke. My wallet says so.
Waiting for the next payday. Maybe I need to get Gold for IPPT to redeem extra $200.
Anyway, I drove Toyota Wish last night! Along the expressway as well with my dad beside me and my paranoid family members behind, praying for their lives. My mum, especially, screamed and kept telling me to brake though I was still 100m from the car in front. Hahaha. But duh, my driving is okay.
The manual Chevloret is left in Johor with its clutch pedal spoilt and battery flat.
And I'll have to wait till it is serviced.
Daily routine resumes with packed bus every morning. I'll need to get the parking coupon from CDA.

Sunday, September 26, 2010

Long time never update this blog...
Well, would the readers out there care about what I wrote?
And this chatbox is full of crap and spams from unknown sources.
Same things happened during weekdays - office work, sleep, packed buses.
No need for me to post about them...DUH...
Anyway, Hari Raya was quite boring.
Partly because I no longer get collections.
But that's not the case. Maybe I'm just lazy.
Met Gabriel and John yesterday.
Played Rock Band before bowling at West Coast.
After dinner, we played at arcade.
Reached home and found out that Man City defeated Chelsea. knn

Wednesday, September 01, 2010

Took half-day leave today, for no good reason.
Went to Beach Road to collect my nametag at 1 plus.
That's it.
Left with 8 more days of leave till the end of the year.

Monday, August 30, 2010

Every morning I feel the breeze
When packed buses passed me
Hoping to be an earlybird
It wasn't turned out to be

Every morning I hear the same thing
Sedia, senang diri
But it feels alright
Coz I'm the boy kilat

In the office, I stare at nothing
On the computer screen
Pretending to work
There's no productivity

During lunch break, I didn't have a break
Coz there's no kit kat
And I'm fasting
So I draw a picture of my cat

Saturday, August 28, 2010

I was young but I wasn't naive
I watched helpless as you turned around to leave
And still I have the pain I have to carry
A past so deep that even you could not bury if you tried

After all this time
I never thought we'd be here
Never thought we'd be here
When my love for you was blind
But I couldn't make you see it
Couldn't make you see it
That I loved you more than you'll ever know
A part of me died when I let you go

I would fall asleep
Only in hopes of dreaming
That everything would be like is was before
But nights like this it seems are slowly fleeting
They disappear as reality is crashing to the floor

After all this time
I never thought we'd be here
Never thought we'd be here
When my love for you was blind
But I couldn't make you see it
Couldn't make you see it
That I loved you more than you'll ever know
A part of me died when I let you go

After all this time
Would you ever wanna leave it
Maybe you could not believe it
That my love for you was blind
But I couldn't make you see it
Couldn't make you see it
That I loved you more than you will ever know
A part of me died when I let you go
And I loved you more than you'll ever know
A part of me dies when I let you go

....Happy 18th =D

Arrggghhh... fail again.
Total 46 demerit points, mostly occured inside the BBDC Circuit which I didn't practise.
Driving on the road was okay as checking blindspots and mirrors are no longer a problem.
Striked the kerb twice after vertical parking and that's 20 points awarded.
But I feel okay failing this time round given that those mistakes are genuine ones instead of repeated ones, bar the striking of kerb.
And my mum recently told me that the Chevrolet has faulty clutch.
So can't drive it at the moment.
Thus, no hard feeling for me.
Try again next time!
But at least there is something to put a smile on my face after that.
That is my School Graduation Cert. which I collected after the test.

Saturday, August 14, 2010

Gonna focus on driving this weekend.
Booked practical lessons today and tomorrow.
The test will be on Monday and I also applied for leave that day.
$300+ gonna be spent for this.
I won't neglect those safety aspects again.
And of course, avoid immediate failure.
I really hope to pass this one.

Sunday, August 01, 2010

Not much entertainment for me this weekend.
Spent Saturday morning at BBDC,renewing my Provisional Driving License.
The waiting was unbearable, in which many foreigners converted their licenses.
Saw the tester who failed me during my first test.
I think he recognised me but I didn't stare for long.
Quite a number of girls wore mini skirt or shorts while waiting for their TP test.
Maybe that's a formula to help them pass.
Had driving lesson today after a month without it.
Next test date is on 16 August.
I'm gonna practise relentlessly and hopefully pass it this time round.
Anyway,fasting month is coming!
That means an additional meal allowance of $80 will be added to my allowance.
Gonna save next month's salary as much as I could.
Anything just eat at home.

Footdrill competition was held today.
Due to wet weather, it was held in the hall.
I,along with 2 seniors, became neutral judges - just tabulating the scores.
It was a quite a relaxing morning watching the platoons marched past us and at the same time enjoy the refreshment that were catered mainly to the Officers.
Charlie won...again. Well I was also impressed by their sharp movements and coordination.
After the competition, the 3 of us were invited to have refreshment, this time at te BRTC Mess.
OMG that place is awesome!
The atmosphere is so relaxing like a in a bar.
Since there were Sirs and Enciks there, I was shy and didn't take more food, though they insisted me to take more.
I kept saying "It's okay, I'm full"
Nevermind, it was my first time. I'll be a neutral judge for the next few upcoming footdrill competitions again.
I'll get used to it.
Oh my, I love my job!

I hate booking out. People will start lighting up their cigarettes.
They would surround the bus stop and the smoke somehow ventilate to my direction.
And waiting for bus 172 is always a chore.
Always packed with people from Home team academy as well as CD personnel.
Knowing that it is a peak hour, SMRT should deploy the long bendy buses.
Furthermore, bus fare has increased. Go to hell with distance fare.
Finding a seat in the bus is as rare as once in a blue moon.
I wish I passed my first driving test.REGRET.
Speaking of which, my PDL will expire on 24th July.
And I'll have to fork out money again just to renew it.
Well even if I have license now, there is still another problem.
My parents won't allow me to drive Toyota Wish but the red-plated off-peak Chevrolet instead.
That means i'll have to reach camp by 7am and exit after 7pm.
Maybe I shall get Class 2 license as well.
Dad would agree but Mom wouldn't.
I anything as long as I'm not the one paying for the lessons.
Well, as for now, just endure and adapt.

I HAVE A NEW CRUSH...

on this phone...

Sunday, July 11, 2010

Had an enjoyable weekend. Played soccer at Fico after work with my Provost seniors on Friday night. Slept at 2am and woke up at 6am on Saturday for Phattzion match against Commonwealth alumni. Lost 5-4 but the good thing is we only had to pay for the referee and not the field. After that, Hamizan forced me to go to town to help out his stall at a flea market. Had headache throughout the day as the market is very crowded. Didn't get a chance to eat until 7pm, when Naz, Ham, Syah and I ate at Estella 77. Took 174 all the way from Orchard to Boon Lay.
But that's not all.
I stayed awake as Syahiran and Zufaidi came to my house to watch soccer at 1am on Sunday. I was wearing Germany's jersey as they beat Uruguay 3-2.
Slept at 5am. Woke up at 10am. Spent the day watching movies. Went to shop for clothings at night.
Gonna sleep early to watch the Final tmr.
Viva Espana! von Dutch

Thursday, July 08, 2010

Bloody hell Germany lost.
I was planning to buy Germany's away kit when I get my pay tmr.
But then, maybe not.
Thanks to Paul the Octopus who predicted a Spain win.
I almost resorted to betting, influenced by my Encik and seniors, who spent the whole day in office talking about the World Cup.
Of course, a good guy like me won't do that.
It has been 2 weeks since the last time I had to do half-right.
I have not been exercising enough. Only trained in the gym after work.
And my weight is reaching 70kg.
And Phattzion will be having a game this Saturday morning.
When was the last time I kicked a football? I don't remember.

Friday, July 02, 2010

I'm gonna spend the rest of NS life sitting in office and do paperwork.
MY work is confidential and it is not demanding.
I think I spent most of the time doing nothing.
Quite boring but hey, I don't get to suffer during NS =D

Gonna spend the weekends in Johor.
Can watch World Cup matches at the makan places.
And also practise my driving.
Director's Parade on Monday

Monday, June 28, 2010

Got to know my posting this morning.
Provost Administrator!
I feel lucky and couldn't ask for a better job.
Working hour is 8am to 5.30pm and sit in the office.
Plus skill allowance on top of rank pay.
But there are more things to come. I don't know.
Really proud to wear the Provost uniform =D
Especially when walking in front of Recruits!

Saturday, June 26, 2010

End of Provost training course!
As usual, once again, I've won the BEST TRAINEE. hehe
I'm posted to the Detention Barrack, most likely be the administrator.
Oh my, I love the No. 3 uniform!
So easy to iron, don't have to fold the sleeves and it really looks grand.
I guess I'm proud to be a Provost
(as for now)
And seriously, I'll make sure I go for haircut.
Brasil and Portugal drew 0-0.
Now waiting for Spain vs Chile.
And I'm now considering whether to sign up for data plan.
Or just get iPod touch?
Need some entertainment if there's nothing to do at work. hehe

Thursday, June 24, 2010

Tomorrow will be the last day of Provost training course!
Will get our NUMBER 3 uniforms, lanyard , baton and stuffs and handcuff? Nvm
Really excited to wear it. It feels special.
I might be posted to the detention barrack as Provost administrator.
I'll confirm with that tmr.
Gonna miss my friends who will be posted to other divisions!
Anyway, there's supposed to be School of Design and Environment camp from this Friday till Monday but I don't think I can make it.
Gonna have a haircut soon! My fringe is not growing but my sides look like Wolverine if I wear the beret.
Really look like mangkok now but I don't behave like one.
I've missed quite a number of World Cup matches on weekdays.
Usually I would fall asleep around 11pm.
What to do?
Where got time?

Monday, June 21, 2010

Failed TP test... =(
It's okay. I feel normal.
Most of my friends who took private failed on their first attempt.
My dad had to take twice. My mom passed after 4 attempts.
$206 for administration fee gone and have to wait till 16 August for re-test.
Now, I'll just move on and focus on Provost trainings and tests.
Since I passed my IPPT earlier on, I'll be given additional $100 skill allowance every month if I pass the course =)

Sunday, June 20, 2010

Traffic Police Driving test and Provost test this week!
I'm really tied to the testing of wills.
One of my prayers have been answered when I got the NUS letter last night.
My appeal is successful. At least now my uncertainties are lessened.
Project and Facilities Management is the course (though I don't really know much about it)
I could still remember those cocked up moments during the interview last Monday but somehow the decision goes my way.
As for the driving test tomorrow, I'll have to report at 7am.
Had practical lesson yesterday and it was fine as per usual.
Relax, forget the world and drive safely and avoid making mistakes.
Any mistake or violation of safety rules will lead to demerit points.
I really hope that I could pass on my first attempt.
Do it once and do it well!
But I still have to report to camp after the test.
This week shall be the last week of Provost training before we post out.
May God bless me.
Amin.

Chevrolet Aveo, here I come!

Wednesday, June 16, 2010

I hope you know...

Sunday, June 13, 2010

Going for Project and Facilities Management interview tomorrow.
It will take 10 mins or so...
I did check out on its website and be mentally prepared for it.
Now the problem is what clothes to wear tmr.
And it will be a hectic morning as I'll have to report to camp first before moving off to NUS.
I must learn how to calm myself down now.
Anyway, NS allowance has arrived but half of it had been spent on contact lenses.
My parents are still giving me weekly allowances though and they are paying my driving lessons and handphone bill.
How spoilt I am but at least I do my part of doing housework, since I got to book out every day.
Looking forward to the 2nd week of Provost training!

Saturday, June 12, 2010

COURAGE, DISCIPLINE and HONOUR...
well, that's the motto of Provost.
The course has been fine and fun for me.
I've learnt how to handle aggressive person and scored 90% for that test =D
Most likely I'll be posted to the detention barrack.
NUS called me yesterday to inform me that I'm invited for an interview for Project and Facilities Management, but it will be held on Monday and will have to miss part of Provost lesson.
Hopefully the interview would go well and my appeal would be accepted
I also will have to miss part of the following Monday lesson due to the Traffic Police test.
I'll make sure I'll do it once and do it well.
That Chevrolet is waiting for me...
(but that car is an off-peak car though)
Public transport is still the best

Monday, June 07, 2010

I'M POSTED To THE PROVOST UNIT!
Guard duty for the rest of my NS life.
3 weeks of training and I'll be wearing that no.3 uniform!

Friday, June 04, 2010

P.O.P OH!!!!!!!!!
Recruit life has ended after enduring for 5 weeks.
Now waiting to be Private on Monday.
Will be informed of my vocation on Monday as well.
My company didn't win the footdrill competition but we knew we had tried our best.
But for me, life as a Recruit was worthwhile and it was a good experience.
I was awarded THE OVERALL BEST IN COMPANY as well as COMPANY BEST IN CD SKILLS =D
I didn't expect myself to win two awards but I knew that with discipline, you can achieve.

Lepak at JP after book out.
My family is in KL now attending my cousin's wedding and they will be back on Monday.
Nothing to do at home and I'm still thinking what to do during the weekends.
Can't wait for payday on the 12th...I think I've spent quite alot.
And I'll have driving lesson this Sunday.
Hope my driving skills are still maintained.

P.O.P Oh!

Sunday, May 30, 2010

The Last Book-in! =D
Just 5 more days, ONLY 5 more days!
Went to Johor on Friday night.
It was the first time I drove a car since a month ago.
Coordination of the gear and pedals sucks.
Need more practice!
From next weekend onwards, I'm gonna book driving lessons till my TP test, which is on 21st June.
Had a football game with Phattzion on Saturday afternoon.
We lost and still each of us had to pay the referee $8.
Left with 1 year 9 months of NS.
Looking forward to the next payday.
Okay, getting ready to book in now. see ya

Platoon 3 Tigers!

My platoon, nicknamed "Tigers", also known as the "fit squad" though many struggled in IPPT. Among other platoons, I think this is the most cooperative one but punishment is inevitable. 5 more NS days to pass out but this last week could be an exhausting week. I am involved in the footdrill competition squad - which means have practice every night. Rescue Equipment Proficiency Test coming up and also the Standard Obstacle Course. May I do well in everything and get into my desired vocation.
Back home, I realised that both Starhub and SingTel will be broadcasting the World Cup but the cost is $70+ ????!!! Forget it...
Fortunately my TV has access to Malaysian channels and can watch for free.
This is Singapore. Increase in standard of living = Increase in cost of living.
1 MORE WEEK TO P.O.P !!!
It was like...WTH so fast? Hahaha
Can't wait to become Private and get into a vocation.
This week, I was selected for Provost interview.
The Encik was cool and the interview went positively.
On the other hand, SRB need a huge number of trainees and I might have a chance to be in it as well.
Whatever it is, I have no expectation in which vocation I'd be in.
As long i know that my house is near CDA.
Anyway, I've been a bunk IC for the past 2 weeks and was punished only once for bunk inspection.
This is an achievement!
And for IPPT (or NAPFA), I got all As except for pull-ups which I did only 7.
2.4km timing was 9.55 min, 10 sec late to achieve Gold standard but it's okay.
Training and practical lessons were fun and we were allowed to take pictures along the way.
Now I understand why many people said that SCDF 'slack'in comparison to army.
As for now, enjoy the long weekend.
I've used part of my NS allowance to buy a keyboard to supplement my guitars.
I forgot all the piano chords and stuff but I'll relearn again.
Soccer match this Saturday!
It's been a month since I last met Phattzion.
P.O.P loh..

Sunday, May 23, 2010

Gonna book in later at 7.45pm but I shall leave home at 7pm.
College Day yesterday burnt my Saturday but at least there's free food once again.
Received letters from NTU and NUS and both rejected me.
Well it's okay. Next year I shall apply for all 4 universities.
If all else fail, then I'd have to burden my parents by going private or overseas, which I hope I won't.
At the moment, let's enjoy NS and learn more useful skills to save lives.
Things gonna be damn packed over the next 2 weeks.
It looks like I don't need to cut botak anymore.
Hope to excel in all the upcoming tests in SCDF and get into a good vocation.

BOOK OUT!!!
This is the 3rd out of the 5th week of Basic Rescue Training.
I was not selected for Section Commander Course but I shall be grateful for that.
I'm not aiming to get the highest pay but to enjoy NS life as much as possible.
Went for Admin and Special Rescue Battalion interviews.
I wish to get into SRB - 4-week course, 24-hour shift and 2 days off sounds nice.
Camp life is so far so good.
There will be more tests coming up.
My hair now, seriously, looks like as if I've been sent to the detention barrack.
And tomorrow is College Day...sian!
No doubt, people will look and laugh at my hair

Saturday, May 15, 2010

MY FIRST BOOK OUT!

Many people said SCDF slack one...YOUR HEAD!
There are strength training, endurance training, IPPT training and so on...
Footdrill is tiring but fun; my score for footdrill assessment is 85/100 =D
My theory and practical tests all passed and had learnt CPR and AED and so on.
More basic rescue lessons to come.
I was selected to go for Section Commander Course interview.
I will find out if I'll be selected for it next week.
Surely, SCC would be very demanding - have to commit for 24 weeks.
But if I don't get selected for it, I will have 3 weeks remaining before POP.
So far so good...just endure and learn!
I shall not talk about SCDF issues here as I might be charged =O
MISS YOU ALL!

Tuesday, April 06, 2010

Had my 7th driving lesson today and learnt parallel parking without poles.
I think it's easier than vertical parking.
Final Theory Test on 19th April!
Must pass that! If not, I might have to delay it by 3 months or so?
No, I don't deserve to fail this time round!
I almost completed the FTT 570 MCQs book.
Met Shahrul at Woodlands to discuss holiday plans.
Decision is final. We are heading to KL, Sunway Lagoon and importantly, shopping at the flea market.
Excess money will be used to play bowling, spa treatment, movies and so on...
Damn Malaysian Ringgit has appreciated from $1=RM 2.4 to $1=RM 2.3

Watched How To Train Your Dragon today with Nabil and Jeremy after playing badminton at CCK stadium. I mean we guys can't watch the other movies simply because they are those of romantic genre...duhh..
Very inspiring...the part when the dad didn't listen to his son was quite sad...

Have been busy lately learning solos and also planning holiday trip to KL and Genting.

PJC vs CJC tmr...
I along with some ruggers will be there.
Nothing is more special that retaining the championship

Phattzion gonna come to my house later to watch Arsenal vs Barcelona.
Worth my time watching Bayern defeated Man Utd this morning =D

WHO IS JUSTIN BIEBER?
I don't really know him but his name has been invading the internet.
Today, I found out more about him and what people commented about him:

1)This little girl is becoming a man. Squeak, crack, wheeze. Hahaha!

When his balls finally drop, so will his career.

2)youtube thanked me for rating poor..

3)His voice burrows into my head, mushes through my brain, and pokes on the backs of my eyeballs. GET HIM OUT!

4)This "KID" is a douche and is not talented. Fucking poser.

5)Justin Bieber is just another cheap and mediocre commercial product of capitalist greedy hogs and pigs who can't have enough money in their cheap pop music industry.

Seriously, this kid is not talented. Someone should rob and put a bullet between that pretty face.

Only fat girls and white thrash like him

6)wtf, from the radio i thought he was black.

7)this guy blows harder than the jonas bros...all of them

8)tell me why is he so popular?
i dont get it:(

It's hard for a kid to face these comments... -_-

Anyway,my friends are planning to go KL and Genting instead of Bangkok.
I'm more familiar there and might feel alot safer...
Unless those rides at the theme park go haywired

I hope not to get into deeper shit....
I had just drove around in Johor without a driving license and without my parents' permission...
HAHAHAHAHA WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!

Monday, March 22, 2010

Alright, it's time to go overseas with friends!
Shahrul and I have confirmed and we're still waiting for others.
Likely destination would be Bangkok...so sick of Malaysia...except Genting Highlands..
Indonesia also can...but mum is concerned about earthquake...
My Nikon D60 is bored and needs some workout
It would be great to witness blood protest in Bangkok
I guess the clothing industry is profiting from the Red Shirts
Looking for the best and cheapest holiday package now...
Important thing is to have fun there...

When I'm bored...

Monday, March 08, 2010

Life is miserable at home with the MIO Home system being attacked by a software bug.
This has been happening since last week.
That means the internet; home telephone and MIO TV cannot be used.
Better get this fixed, SingTel!
I want to watch Champions League matches.
And now I have to use Wi-Fi at McDonald’s = (

A Level result was released last Friday.
Here are my grades:

H2
History - B
Economics - B
Chemistry - D

H1
General Paper – D
Mathematics - B
Malay - B
Project Work - B

Overall, I’m satisfied knowing that I’m suck at Chemistry and Economics, which I got U for prelims.
Just disappointed that I didn’t get any distinction = (
Nevertheless, I thank God for this result as I thought I would do much worse.
Now the difficult part is choosing the course and university.
Looking at the admission requirements is quite stressful.
Without H2 Math, I can’t get into most engineering courses, though my dad is an engineer.
Those available courses for me are those popular ones, such as business admin.
Hoping for the best.

EAT, EAT, EAT....

Thursday, February 18, 2010

Chinese New Year was well-celebrated.
Had Reunion BBQ at Johor with relatives coming over.
Over there, fireworks were exploded by our Chinese neighbours.
Had lunch at Seoul Garden with some classmates on Tuesday.
Driving practices for yesterday and today were fine.
Uncle Sam, my instructor, loves to talk about politics and Islamic affairs while I drive.
This morning, he brought up Anwar's scandal.
After driving, I went to SSDC to register for Final Theory Test.
FTT slots were packed and so I managed to book for FTT on 19 April.
No wonder it's easy to fail.
You'll have to get at least 45 out of 50 questions correct in order to pass it.
Who knows I got 44?
Champions League is finally here!
To be honest, MIO TV channels are boring (except for Football Frenzy).
Hope SingTel could win the bid to broadcast the World Cup!
Well, it is as if I could watch it.
I'll be in SCDF by then.

Thursday, February 11, 2010

FUCK, FUCK, FUCK , FUCK!!!!!!!!!!
Damn it, KNNCCB!
How could this happened to me?
I couldn't believe it!
I FAILED Final Theory Test!
It's not that I didn't study, I treated it like a bible.
While practical driving lessons were fine, the fact that I screwed up this was really so fucked up!
Gosh....my friends were right, FTT was meant to be tricky.
The choices given for each question are logical and make sense but you'll have to choose the best option.
Okay, fine, I accept that I failed this one but the most fucking piece of shit that piled more misery to me is that the next available slot for FTT will be in May.
MAY, I tell you!
That's like 3 months later?
The earliest that I could book is on 8th May and I'll be entering SCDF on the 4th.
WHY? WHY? WHY???
I'm so demoralised now, so heartbroken.
Mom is going to give me the Chevrolet car soon but that will be delayed.
Even so, booking for Traffic Police Test would take an even longer time.
I feel so wrecked, so pissed off.
I think I could only drive in Malaysia for now, assuming that I won't get caught.
I cancelled tmr's driving lesson as I need to settle down now.
Feel like a loser now, though I keep telling myself to be patient and have faith.
Disappointing.........
Really....
I wish I could bribe someone to give up his or her FTT slot for me...
I'm pretending to be okay...

Okay, meeting Joash later for soccer...
This is the first time in 2010 that I feel this way.
Perhaps the next time would be during A level results day.
But at least I'm anticipating it, unlike this morning.

Driving lesson yesterday was good.
Had a few mistakes initially especially the half-clutch position but eventually I got it.
The circuit was awesome, the one at the former Keat Hong Camp.
There are even uphill and downhill slopes!
The fun thing is that I got to drive on the streets outside and drove past CCK, B Batok and stopped at Gombak.
My other problem is stopping near the STOP line.
I hate the clutch pedal seriously; if you handle it wrongly, the engine will be stalled.
The Malay instructor commented that I was very good! =D =D =D
But today I will face another instructor, maybe a Chinese one.
Going rugby training after that.
Whatever and whoever it is,just
SHUT UP AND DRIVE!

Monday, February 08, 2010

My first driving practical lesson tmr.
Hope the instructor is not a stern one.
The other time I drove my mum's car illegally in Malaysia, the accelerator is very sensitive.
The other challenge would be coordination with the clutch and accelerator pedals, especially half-clutch position.
I'll do my best to limit the number of hours of lessons by learning effectively.
$28 an hour...
Do it once and do it well!

Thursday, February 04, 2010

Jammed with Haikal, Hezel, Shazwan and Khalis, with special guest Nabil.
Really had a good time!

Went for rugby training and coached the new J1 ruggers.
They're not bad for starters.
Hope they could push their limits and complement the senior team.
Got cuts again - this time on the thigh.
Must be from somebody's fingernails.

Received the NS letter today!
I am selected to join SCDF and the date of enlistment is 4th May.
Thank God! I can take 172 once again - the same bus I took to school.
So happy! I'll be joining Nabil and Hezel there as well.
Now I am able to plan things ahead.
If things go well, I would be able to complete my driving courses.
I could even work part-time.
I could ...etc
Yesterday, the application of MACS at the immigration centre in Johor was so troublesome.
Felt like writing a feedback letter....it was so frustrating!
Alright, going to PJC later!

Thursday, January 28, 2010

HAPPY 19th to me!
And also Happy Birthday Nuqman!
Thank you all for the wishes!
Off to Malaysia again later.
Gonna apply for Malaysia Automated Clearance System (MACS).
Will be back tomorrow morning.
Gosh, I wish there is wireless there.

Miss ya! =)

Back from Malaysia!
Went swimming in the evening last night. Today I went to the driving centre to apply for Provisional Driving License (PDL). With this, I am able to drive a car BUT in the eyes of a qualified driving instructor. Since I'm taking private course, I'll have to find one myself and try to negotiate a cheaper price. Hopefully I could find a Malay one! Final Theory test will be on Feb 11 as I could not find an available slot for the month of January. Targeting to finish everything by April. Dad recommends me to learn motor but as always mom wouldn't allow that.

After that, I met Gabriel and went to Peninsula Plaza to buy our guitar accessories. I bought an acoustic guitar bag and a capo. I walked past this shop which states "Life without music is a mistake". True indeed!
I'll 19 soon. Lots of wishes to come true. One of them is you <3

Went to town with some ruggers yesterday. Watched Daybreaker at Cineleisure. It is another vampire story but much way better than New Moon. It is rated NC-16 and lots of bloodshed. Walked from Orchard to Dhoby Ghout before taking bus to City Hall. Camwhored along the way. We'd be meeting up soon again at the end of the month. More mass stupidity soon!
There is one thing that I still can't stop thinking about and it is bothering me for long. No, not you. But my NS enlistment. If I were to know the date of enlistment, my life wouldn't be uncertain now. I tried to call but the call is managed by operator and not the staff. I have my own plans and agendas but not knowing when I will enter is affecting them. I need to know if I have the time to complete my driving courses, attend courses to become property agents, photography, start my music career and so on. All I know is that I'm in PES B level 1 and not sure if I will be enlisted in Army, CD or Police. So at the moment I shall try to enjoy. Anyone who wants to ask me out (especially girls, if any...hehe), do not hesitate to contact me!

Green Day concert was a blast. Started 21 years ago, this is the first time they are here in Singapore and I'm proud to be part of this occasion. My sis and I were among the free standing audience. Somehow during the show we were separated as the crowd kept jumping, pushing and moshing around, which is good if you are surrounded by girls, which I did. Concert ended at midnight and took cab home.
Woke up at 11 this morning. Met Nuqman at the mosque and he told me that Memberz will be having a chalet tonight. On the other hand, Gab asked me to go night cycling tonight. Since I have not met Memberz for a long time, it would be good to go chalet. My family will be staying over at Johor, so I'm free to go home anytime. Feel so good to enjoy but I will have to check on my spending.
On a frustrating note, my handphone touchscreen seems to be jammed sometimes so if I reply late, please understand. Alright, meeting Nuqman soon.
Have fun!

Wednesday, January 13, 2010

Rugby training today was good but short. Played in the field opposite the mosque as the school field is under construction. We are forming the Old Boys Asssociation and we hope ruggers of the previous batches would join us. Bought nasi lemak and lepak with the ruggers outside Lot 1. Talked about various issues especially work. Gonna meet them again soon but haven't decide where and when.
Tomorrow, I shall be a punk. Tomorrow is not Thursday but Green Day! Going to their concert at Indoor Stadium. Hope it will be a good show. I'm not sure whether to watch Boys Like Girls as well which will be held on 28 January, one day after my 19th birthday. Okay gonna relearn their lyrics tonight!

MIO Home =)

Just installed today. Now watching TV is my hobby. Can't wait for next season's EPL. Those who want to watch Champions League may come over =)
Went to Gab's house today with my guitar. Played Wii, guitar and eat.
Going back to PJC tmr for rugby.
See you guys!
P.S. Try mixing milo with coffee or tea. Nice!

Sunday, January 10, 2010

Hello people! Just came back from Malaysia. Stayed over at my 2nd home in Johor alone and it was peaceful. There is a Lift Upgrading Programme here in Jurong and the noise is unbearable. To those who called and sms-ed me, sorry for not replying coz my phone has no roaming. Now I missed my friends, though it has been only a week. Not sure of finding another job soon. Chinese New Year coming, sure there are some supermarkets that need my service =)

Switching to Adult Fare =(

No more student pass as it is expired, no more bus concession at $27 and suddenly transportation cost for us inflated. One bus trip from my house to the interchange costs 69 cents and MRT ride to the city area could reach up to $2. Well these amounts may sound little but if I were to travel every day it would cost a lot. Now I know what it is like for poly students to come up with a petition to lower bus fares. I paid $15 to purchase an EZ Link card with $10 value and that $5 is non-refundable. Within the first day of the new year, the initial value of my EZ link card is now left with only $4.30. Cost of living has risen in this aspect. Well, lifestyle has to change somehow. From now on, I'm gonna use my bicycle often instead of the bus. Forget about forcing my parents to send me there. But the problem now is that the braking system of my bike is not functioning well and needs repair. Or I could even have a 15 minute walk to Pioneer MRT station. So troublesome! I won't use part of my salary to keep topping up the card. Need to plan thoroughly.

Anyway, on a brighter note, MOE has informed me that it has registered me as a relief teacher and I shall wait for a direct call by a school which requires my service. On a even brighter note, I had a wonderful outing with the ruggers yesterday. Ate at Hei Sushi, went to tour Giant and then lepak at Woodlands. Farewell to Kumaran and Damien who are going for NS in a couple of days time.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Had an awesome night with friends and also met new friends.
I think this is the best countdown ever!
Lepak at Clarke Quay, being sprayed, and dancing...
One of the best night ever!
More pics in facebook.
Tomorrow I'll be meeting the ruggers for farewell to Kumar and Damien who are entering NS soon.
Happy New Year everyone and may 2010 be a great year for all of us!
=)
