Failed TP test... =(
It's okay. I feel normal.
Most of my friends who took private failed on their first attempt.
My dad had to take twice. My mom passed after 4 attempts.
$206 for administration fee gone and have to wait till 16 August for re-test.
Now, I'll just move on and focus on Provost trainings and tests.
Since I passed my IPPT earlier on, I'll be given additional $100 skill allowance every month if I pass the course =)

Traffic Police Driving test and Provost test this week!
I'm really tied to the testing of wills.
One of my prayers have been answered when I got the NUS letter last night.
My appeal is successful. At least now my uncertainties are lessened.
Project and Facilities Management is the course (though I don't really know much about it)
I could still remember those cocked up moments during the interview last Monday but somehow the decision goes my way.
As for the driving test tomorrow, I'll have to report at 7am.
Had practical lesson yesterday and it was fine as per usual.
Relax, forget the world and drive safely and avoid making mistakes.
Any mistake or violation of safety rules will lead to demerit points.
I really hope that I could pass on my first attempt.
Do it once and do it well!
But I still have to report to camp after the test.
This week shall be the last week of Provost training before we post out.
May God bless me.
Amin.

Chevrolet Aveo, here I come!

I hope you know...

Sunday, June 13, 2010

Going for Project and Facilities Management interview tomorrow.
It will take 10 mins or so...
I did check out on its website and be mentally prepared for it.
Now the problem is what clothes to wear tmr.
And it will be a hectic morning as I'll have to report to camp first before moving off to NUS.
I must learn how to calm myself down now.
Anyway, NS allowance has arrived but half of it had been spent on contact lenses.
My parents are still giving me weekly allowances though and they are paying my driving lessons and handphone bill.
How spoilt I am but at least I do my part of doing housework, since I got to book out every day.
Looking forward to the 2nd week of Provost training!

COURAGE, DISCIPLINE and HONOUR...
well, that's the motto of Provost.
The course has been fine and fun for me.
I've learnt how to handle aggressive person and scored 90% for that test =D
Most likely I'll be posted to the detention barrack.
NUS called me yesterday to inform me that I'm invited for an interview for Project and Facilities Management, but it will be held on Monday and will have to miss part of Provost lesson.
Hopefully the interview would go well and my appeal would be accepted
I also will have to miss part of the following Monday lesson due to the Traffic Police test.
I'll make sure I'll do it once and do it well.
That Chevrolet is waiting for me...
(but that car is an off-peak car though)
Public transport is still the best

I'M POSTED To THE PROVOST UNIT!
Guard duty for the rest of my NS life.
3 weeks of training and I'll be wearing that no.3 uniform!

P.O.P OH!!!!!!!!!
Recruit life has ended after enduring for 5 weeks.
Now waiting to be Private on Monday.
Will be informed of my vocation on Monday as well.
My company didn't win the footdrill competition but we knew we had tried our best.
But for me, life as a Recruit was worthwhile and it was a good experience.
I was awarded THE OVERALL BEST IN COMPANY as well as COMPANY BEST IN CD SKILLS =D
I didn't expect myself to win two awards but I knew that with discipline, you can achieve.

Lepak at JP after book out.
My family is in KL now attending my cousin's wedding and they will be back on Monday.
Nothing to do at home and I'm still thinking what to do during the weekends.
Can't wait for payday on the 12th...I think I've spent quite alot.
And I'll have driving lesson this Sunday.
Hope my driving skills are still maintained.

P.O.P Oh!

The Last Book-in! =D
Just 5 more days, ONLY 5 more days!
Went to Johor on Friday night.
It was the first time I drove a car since a month ago.
Coordination of the gear and pedals sucks.
Need more practice!
From next weekend onwards, I'm gonna book driving lessons till my TP test, which is on 21st June.
Had a football game with Phattzion on Saturday afternoon.
We lost and still each of us had to pay the referee $8.
Left with 1 year 9 months of NS.
Looking forward to the next payday.
Okay, getting ready to book in now. see ya

Platoon 3 Tigers!

My platoon, nicknamed "Tigers", also known as the "fit squad" though many struggled in IPPT. Among other platoons, I think this is the most cooperative one but punishment is inevitable. 5 more NS days to pass out but this last week could be an exhausting week. I am involved in the footdrill competition squad - which means have practice every night. Rescue Equipment Proficiency Test coming up and also the Standard Obstacle Course. May I do well in everything and get into my desired vocation.
Back home, I realised that both Starhub and SingTel will be broadcasting the World Cup but the cost is $70+ ????!!! Forget it...
Fortunately my TV has access to Malaysian channels and can watch for free.
This is Singapore. Increase in standard of living = Increase in cost of living.
1 MORE WEEK TO P.O.P !!!
It was like...WTH so fast? Hahaha
Can't wait to become Private and get into a vocation.
This week, I was selected for Provost interview.
The Encik was cool and the interview went positively.
On the other hand, SRB need a huge number of trainees and I might have a chance to be in it as well.
Whatever it is, I have no expectation in which vocation I'd be in.
As long i know that my house is near CDA.
Anyway, I've been a bunk IC for the past 2 weeks and was punished only once for bunk inspection.
This is an achievement!
And for IPPT (or NAPFA), I got all As except for pull-ups which I did only 7.
2.4km timing was 9.55 min, 10 sec late to achieve Gold standard but it's okay.
Training and practical lessons were fun and we were allowed to take pictures along the way.
Now I understand why many people said that SCDF 'slack'in comparison to army.
As for now, enjoy the long weekend.
I've used part of my NS allowance to buy a keyboard to supplement my guitars.
I forgot all the piano chords and stuff but I'll relearn again.
Soccer match this Saturday!
It's been a month since I last met Phattzion.
P.O.P loh..

Gonna book in later at 7.45pm but I shall leave home at 7pm.
College Day yesterday burnt my Saturday but at least there's free food once again.
Received letters from NTU and NUS and both rejected me.
Well it's okay. Next year I shall apply for all 4 universities.
If all else fail, then I'd have to burden my parents by going private or overseas, which I hope I won't.
At the moment, let's enjoy NS and learn more useful skills to save lives.
Things gonna be damn packed over the next 2 weeks.
It looks like I don't need to cut botak anymore.
Hope to excel in all the upcoming tests in SCDF and get into a good vocation.

My new wallet

and hairstyle (if any)

BOOK OUT!!!
This is the 3rd out of the 5th week of Basic Rescue Training.
I was not selected for Section Commander Course but I shall be grateful for that.
I'm not aiming to get the highest pay but to enjoy NS life as much as possible.
Went for Admin and Special Rescue Battalion interviews.
I wish to get into SRB - 4-week course, 24-hour shift and 2 days off sounds nice.
Camp life is so far so good.
There will be more tests coming up.
My hair now, seriously, looks like as if I've been sent to the detention barrack.
And tomorrow is College Day...sian!
No doubt, people will look and laugh at my hair

MY FIRST BOOK OUT!

Many people said SCDF slack one...YOUR HEAD!
There are strength training, endurance training, IPPT training and so on...
Footdrill is tiring but fun; my score for footdrill assessment is 85/100 =D
My theory and practical tests all passed and had learnt CPR and AED and so on.
More basic rescue lessons to come.
I was selected to go for Section Commander Course interview.
I will find out if I'll be selected for it next week.
Surely, SCC would be very demanding - have to commit for 24 weeks.
But if I don't get selected for it, I will have 3 weeks remaining before POP.
So far so good...just endure and learn!
I shall not talk about SCDF issues here as I might be charged =O
MISS YOU ALL!

Had my 7th driving lesson today and learnt parallel parking without poles.
I think it's easier than vertical parking.
Final Theory Test on 19th April!
Must pass that! If not, I might have to delay it by 3 months or so?
No, I don't deserve to fail this time round!
I almost completed the FTT 570 MCQs book.
Met Shahrul at Woodlands to discuss holiday plans.
Decision is final. We are heading to KL, Sunway Lagoon and importantly, shopping at the flea market.
Excess money will be used to play bowling, spa treatment, movies and so on...
Damn Malaysian Ringgit has appreciated from $1=RM 2.4 to $1=RM 2.3

Watched How To Train Your Dragon today with Nabil and Jeremy after playing badminton at CCK stadium. I mean we guys can't watch the other movies simply because they are those of romantic genre...duhh..
Very inspiring...the part when the dad didn't listen to his son was quite sad...

Have been busy lately learning solos and also planning holiday trip to KL and Genting.

PJC vs CJC tmr...
I along with some ruggers will be there.
Nothing is more special that retaining the championship

Phattzion gonna come to my house later to watch Arsenal vs Barcelona.
Worth my time watching Bayern defeated Man Utd this morning =D

WHO IS JUSTIN BIEBER?
I don't really know him but his name has been invading the internet.
Today, I found out more about him and what people commented about him:

1)This little girl is becoming a man. Squeak, crack, wheeze. Hahaha!

When his balls finally drop, so will his career.

2)youtube thanked me for rating poor..

3)His voice burrows into my head, mushes through my brain, and pokes on the backs of my eyeballs. GET HIM OUT!

4)This "KID" is a douche and is not talented. Fucking poser.

5)Justin Bieber is just another cheap and mediocre commercial product of capitalist greedy hogs and pigs who can't have enough money in their cheap pop music industry.

Seriously, this kid is not talented. Someone should rob and put a bullet between that pretty face.

Only fat girls and white thrash like him

6)wtf, from the radio i thought he was black.

7)this guy blows harder than the jonas bros...all of them

8)tell me why is he so popular?
i dont get it:(

It's hard for a kid to face these comments... -_-

Anyway,my friends are planning to go KL and Genting instead of Bangkok.
I'm more familiar there and might feel alot safer...
Unless those rides at the theme park go haywired

I hope not to get into deeper shit....
I had just drove around in Johor without a driving license and without my parents' permission...
HAHAHAHAHA WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!

Monday, March 22, 2010

Alright, it's time to go overseas with friends!
Shahrul and I have confirmed and we're still waiting for others.
Likely destination would be Bangkok...so sick of Malaysia...except Genting Highlands..
Indonesia also can...but mum is concerned about earthquake...
My Nikon D60 is bored and needs some workout
It would be great to witness blood protest in Bangkok
I guess the clothing industry is profiting from the Red Shirts
Looking for the best and cheapest holiday package now...
Important thing is to have fun there...

When I'm bored...

Monday, March 08, 2010

Life is miserable at home with the MIO Home system being attacked by a software bug.
This has been happening since last week.
That means the internet; home telephone and MIO TV cannot be used.
Better get this fixed, SingTel!
I want to watch Champions League matches.
And now I have to use Wi-Fi at McDonald’s = (

A Level result was released last Friday.
Here are my grades:

H2
History - B
Economics - B
Chemistry - D

H1
General Paper – D
Mathematics - B
Malay - B
Project Work - B

Overall, I’m satisfied knowing that I’m suck at Chemistry and Economics, which I got U for prelims.
Just disappointed that I didn’t get any distinction = (
Nevertheless, I thank God for this result as I thought I would do much worse.
Now the difficult part is choosing the course and university.
Looking at the admission requirements is quite stressful.
Without H2 Math, I can’t get into most engineering courses, though my dad is an engineer.
Those available courses for me are those popular ones, such as business admin.
Hoping for the best.
