We got our examination scripts today for the checking of marks.Only Physics exceeds my target.I aimed to get at least B4 but I scored 69.4% for it which is B3.I'm quite upset with myself.I failed my English Paper 2.As a result,it affects my overall result for English.What shocked me and my clasmates most was that I got 39 out of 40 for English oral! My composition was well-written but still not satisfied enough.The other subject I failed was Social Studies which I got 12/30.But I think I pass my Combined Humanities with the help of Elective Geography which I got 30/50.Well,failing English really quiver me.Luckily it was mid-year.If it is Prelim and if I get this kind of results, I can say goodbye to my computer and PS2 until O Level ends.And I hope to convert my physical stamina into mental stamina.I did quite OK for other subjects.I got A2 for Malay,B4 for Chemistry.As for Maths, I got 68% for Paper 2 but I failed Papaer 1 34/80.Despite being the highest for POA,I could only manage 60%.Pure History I go 53% as I did not have enough time for Source-based Qns.

Overall,I don't really like these results although I am delighted that I finally can do well for Physics.I have to buck up on my English.I knew that many people also failed that subject but it is not an excuse really.So what if I got 39/40 for Oral? But getting 17/50 for Paper 2 really pissed me off.Nevertheless,I will put aside my other subjects first as Mother Tongue O Level will begin at the end of May.MT intensive lessons will start tomorrow and please Allah I want to get A1 and that's it! I don't want to retake it.Just 2 weeks more...
