Such a wonderful 2010. A year free from studies (except BTT, FTT & SCDF tests), the year I got my driving licence, admission to NUS, a smartphone, made lots of new friends and so on. My NSF life so far has been wonderful overall. To be honest I feel very fortunate that my camp is nearby, to be working with dedicated colleagues and I don't feel tortured at all, even during recruit life. 5 weeks of BRT is nothing compared to a few sessions of rugby training =D
Another thing which makes me feel better is the trust my parents have towards me. They allow me to travel overseas without them, allow me to drive their cars, allow me to come home late when I hang out with friends. They do care about my whereabouts obviously but their trust on me is strong. And I promise not to ever let them down.
As for my siblings, my elder sister has started working. Hope that she'll treat me to more concerts. My younger sister, who scored 242 for her PSLE, got into Crescent Girls. So proud of her although she is not the study type and always surf Facebook with her iPhone. My PSLE score was only 192 but heck care, I got into uni. My younger bro will be taking his PSLE next year. I trust he would be smarter. My mum got Diploma before he was born.
And the latest news for me is that I was selected to work at DB Admin. That means I'll be working office hours again. My time spent with Bravo Guards was worthwhile. We had so many outings. Good luck to Bravo and thanks for your everything! Their teaching and guidance when I work at DB is very much appreciated.
Had a wonderful primary school reunion on Tuesday!
Ate at Lau Pa Sat and witnessed stallholders arguments over tauting.
Time well spent!
