FAREWELL!
Goodbye Westwood!

4H Zusammen' 07 , ALL THE BEST TO YOU!

Indeed it was a good day! I'll always remember those stupid and memorable things we did that PLEASURED and PRESSURED the teachers. We'll still be coming to school next week for mock exam but we can't sing our school anthem together once again.23 days to O Level and I have wanted to do my best so badly. I really enjoyed the skit played by our form teachers. To me, it was the best stand and deliver ever! Nonetheless, it's not over. After O level,we'll surely go outings and enjoy ourselves as if we won't be seeing each other again tomorrow. At the moment, I want to discipline myself- NO PS2, NO TV, NO MSN, NO SOCCER , NO ENTERTAINMENT. I'm going to be like this for a short period and if my desired results are revealed, the happiness would be everlasting. I had got the time to take photos with 1H. I really love and miss them. I gave my last words to them- try to understand each other and avoid conflicts.Maybe they do not realise it but I hope they will as they mature. After that, I went to the mosque with my gang and relaxed after prayer. Then I went home to give tuition to 2 PSLE students. My mum will pay me $5 per hour. OK, to other Westwoodians who have been encouraging me, I would like to thank you guys. I can't think of a way to repay your motivation to me.

Entering JJC for 6 weeks after O

Whoa...finally got time to blog. There are assignments being given out everyday and I'm determined to complete all of them so that I can do revision. I find that fasting is not a hindrance for me. I am able to concentrate in class and need not waste my time to eat. Anyway, I managed to enter JJC for one and a half month after O Level. My L1R5 for prelim was 22 but the teachers moderated some subjects to lower my points to 20. Mr Cris selected me to go for the soccer trials at JJC. If I continue to study at JJC after the release of O Level results, 2 points will be deducted from my aggregate score. Nevertheless, it's not over yet. I will still have to continue revising and practising for the remaining 27 days. My priority is to do well for English and Maths. I have been improving for Maths but I'm concern about my English. I really have to buck up on my comprehension. I did past years' papers but usually my comprehension pulled me down. I hope that the English Intensive programme can benefit me. Ms Chen told me that the teachers have confidence in me though I myself have doubts. I was glad to hear that.

At 2pm, we had our EL intensive and we were told to do Paper 2.Mr Tang had to teach the sec 3s and so he left us on our own. It was meant to be a test but he allowed us to sit in pairs. The class was extremely noisy. Some people perturbed and teased Zaki, Rachel's scream can make me deaf, 4I students made a hell out of noise. I couldn't concentrate. Furthermore, I was doing the St Margaret paper, a tough paper. After that, I walked alone to the CC to complete my maths paper 2 assignment within 2 hours 30 minutes in exam condition. Unfortunately, sorry, surprisingly, she sat beside me ! Nice to see her but I chose not to stare too much. I had to discipline myself and focus. After I had completed, I relaxed outside the room, thinking whether to make a move to sound her. She went outside too...

....Too bad.I had to go home to break fast.

Tomorrow will be our last PE lesson.
Friday is the farewell assembly
How fast time goes by
But still, I'll be back to school next week for a week of mock exams.

Prelim Is Over....
.....Start of Ramadan

The Physics paper 1 was challenging.I had a lot of Cs in most of my answers. I did studied for that and I almost had no time to complete the 40 questions. My lips were dry while I was doing the exam in the air-conditioned classroom. Too bad that I couldn't drink during the daytime because I'm fasting. The Chemisrty paper was slightly easier. I felt so dumbed. There was a page missing in the question paper but I didn't realised that until I turned to the page. Luckily, Mrs Betty Chow, the invigilator, had an extra question paper for me.She is kind indeed. I don't know why some Westwoodians hate her. If every Westwoodian behaves well and has good discipline like me (as if...), she won't get angry and nag. I have no exam tomorrow and need not go to school tomorrow. I was looking forward to a holiday tomorrow but suddenly, it was announced that the sec 4 express will have to come to school at 10am tomorrow to get back our Prelims results. That spoilt my plan. After school, I walked home with Huzaimie. Then, I brought along my FIFA 2007 DVD and PS2 controller to Kok Kiong's house.Nuqman,Nazreen,Asyraff,Fariss and Zufaidi were there. We were slacking as if it's the end of O level. For the first time in my life, I managed to defeat Nazreen,Nuqman,Kok Kiong and Asyraff. There were surprised to see my improvements ( long time never versus Zaki). I also played guitar while watching them play. What a relaxed afternoon! I walked home with Asyraff from there at about 6.30pm and then had breakfast. At 8pm,I went for prayer. The earthquake in Sumatra really created much chaos but thankfully,Singapore is safe.

POA PAper 1 today was so easy.I completed all the questions within 45 minutes and I checked for error. I only have a few doubtful questions but the rest were not a problem for me.Yesterday, I did 5 sets of the POA study pack and 3 sets of TYS POA exam papers.I was expecting a much tougher paper for prelim but it turned out to be like a O Level standard. Well, I should not be over-confident but all I hope for is to get a distinction for POA. After that, Fariss, Zaki, Asyraff, Joey and I ate in the canteen. I think it would be the last time I ate there as tomorrow is the start of the fasting month and we will be graduated after 5 October. I took 185 home with Asyraff. Tomorrow is the last day of prelim and I will have Physics and Chemistry Paper 1. I will do a lot of TYS questions for both subjects and hope to get as high as I can because the teachers told us that our Paper 2 for both subjects were badly done and I can't rely on practicals. I'm having a break now.Later as usual I'll study at CC. OMG, I stared at for too long as I walked out of the room last night and she looked at me too! She didn't seem to look angry but stressful.Haha.Zaki always tells me not to do that but I can't stop it.

P.S. Reminder to Zaki: Be PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY prepared for tomorrow! I'll push you through these difficult times!

Tuesday, September 11, 2007

Halfway through my journey to school this morning, it started to rain. I read my POA notes during the silent reading. The POA paper was okay.Since I had a lot of practice, I am afmiliar with the type of questions that would be set.The problem lies in the explanation part. Fortunately I have studied financial ratios. Both the questions of Section B were from that topic. Overall, it was manageable.POA paper 1 will be held tomorrow at 11am. So I can come to school late tomorrow.I ate with my gang after the paper before taking bus home. They said that they want to play at street soccer but I'm too lazy for that. Later, I want to complete all my POA Paper 1 study pack. The total marks for Paper 1 is 30 marks and in order to get A1, I'll have to do my best for this paper.I'm aiming for at least 23 out of 30. The noise made by the students after assembly distracted me once again. Some were shouting louder than the twins. I really want Ms Laura Lau station at the classrooms block to maintain the noise level. I just want to shout 'shut the fuck up' to those noisy bastards and bitches but I was patient. I tried to close my eyes and breathe for a while while doing my Prelim exam.

E Maths Paper 2 & E History Prelim

The maths paper was okay. The difficulty of the paper was what I had expected. I'm still having a flu but my headache had gone yesterday. During the break, I only ate burger as my stomach was feeling uneasy. The History paper was also okay but most of the topics I had studied didn't came out.I did the question on the defeat of Japan and Germany. This time round, I managed to complete the source-based questions as I had a sense of urgency. After that, I went home with Kiong and Asyraff. I reached home but there's nobody inside. I went to the kitchen but my mum didn't cook for lunch. After having a nap, I turn on my computer to print some POA notes which I did myself. At the same time, I'm blogging. After this, I'm going to the CC to revise for POA Paper 2 which will be held tomorrow. Those taking A Maths need not come to school tomorrow.I'm really pissed off by the noise made the students after recess. It's useless for teachers to remind them again. About 2 more weeks to Farewell Assembly and I fear for the future of this school. Aim for A1 tomorrow! Try not to get below 50 out of 70. Accountants are in demand. Work for it.

FIRE !

The situation at the scene

After I woke up, I looked outside the window and was surprised to see a fire engine and several SCDF officers along the corridor. There's nobody in my house at that time. I walked out of my house to witness what had happened. Since I had not bathed, I chose not to go to the scene. It was my Indian neighbour's house. I don't think there were any casualties. A few years ago, a fire broke out in the house beside mine. The lighted candles from the tok pekong caused that fire. Fortunately, it was a minor damage outside my neighbur's house this time. I was told that the fuse in the main circuit was exploded due to overloading. That's what I learnt from Physics. Because of that, I could not watch TV in the morning. I had fried bee hoon for breakfast and then at noon, I went to study at the CC. It's good to see her turning to me as I entered the room. Unfortunately for me, I'm still having a flu and that is irritating me until now.

I did a set of Maths Paper 2 revision. It was very tough and I even forgot some formulas. I had a few packets of tissue papers with me as I was doing my work. My body temperature this morning was 37 degree celsius but I still have a headache. After 3 hours of Maths, I ate the big coffee boy. There was a ceremony for the new citizens of Singapore being held at the hall. I was looking around at some girls but then suddenly Crystal appeared behind me, so I stopped my action. There was a variety of food. After the break I revised for History till 6pm. My mum called and she told me to go for a ceremony at my cousin's house to commemorate the start of fasting month. I ate a lot there and then watched a soccer match. Along the way home, we went to my grandparents' house for a while to give her some food. Once I arrived home, I applied tiger balm on my tummy because of stomachache. There will be a wedding ceremony near my house tomorrow, so I'll study at the CC to avoid disturbance.

I ate roti prata in the morning.Played PS2 for a while before going to the mosque. I'm sick today and down with running nose and headache. The weather was so humid at noon. I purposely sat beside a dainty girl in the bus though there were some available seats. There were free food given but I did not take one.I was hoping for some Phattzion members to come but none came except Ramadan, who was with another gang. There was a couple of blackouts in the mosque and the imam had to project his voice loudly. Worst still, I had forgotten to bring along my house keys. There's no one at home and my mum would be back late at night. She sms-ed that she would come back home for a while at 3pm thankfully. I met up with Huzaimie and Suhaimi after prayer. We went to Jurong Point to play arcade, loiter around and then went to the library. After a very long time without playing in the arcade, I kept losing in all the games I played. Huzaimie was very good at the fighting game.At Popular, we saw SM Lee Weiyang in his uniform. He was going to a hospital at that time. He is very active in doing volunteering works. At the library, we browsed through some books and Suhaimi borrowed a comic book. We went into the Yamaha music school to take a look at the instruments and the courses available. The price of a electric guitar there is $701 and the better ones cost above $1000. That's so expensive but it is of a good quality. At Peninsula shopping centre, the price is much cheaper at about $300. From there, we walked home. I was feeling drowsy at home. I wanted to go CC but I could not withstand the cold condition.I bought fried noodles for dinner and watched S-League match between Young Lions and Super Reds. The Korean players are indeed handsome like those in Korean dramas. the match ended 0-0 despite Super Reds having to play with one man less. I hope to get well soon. I will have to sleep without turning on the air-conditioner tonight.

Thursday, September 06, 2007

I had 4 hours of Chemistry lesson with Mrs Betty Chow today. We learnt about acids, bases and salts. It is not an easy chapter. I will have to know how to construct and balance a equation when a reaction occured, what gas is produced, and so on. She even had to recap on the difference between ionic and covalent compounds as some of us were confused. The lesson took a long time because she kept repeating things over and over again to make sure we understood. My gang of 5 ate at Kenny's cafe during the break and brought snacks into the class except me the good boy. They were not afraid of the Principal. She also covered the Contact and Haber processes before we were dismissed at noon.We took 185 home. Once at home,I tidied my room and read History textbook on my bed till I fell asleep. In the evening, I bought food from 815 for my parents. I was also instructed to wash all the plates and cups which were left in the sink since last night. My maid is now at my grandma's (mum's mum) home, taking care of her. So , it's my job to do those stuff. After that, I composed another song.I'm addicted to it and it has been becoming my hobby. My keyboard do not have the rock drumbeat.Nevertheless, I got the tune in my mind. There's no school tomorrow. I want to study at the CC after prayer tomorrow. My room is not that condusive.Alright, that's it for today.I can sleep late tonight.

Chemistry Prelim Practical Exam

I really don't know what to say about this paper.I'm not sure if my observations were correct. It was so much difficult than Physics paper.Firstly, I did on the titration. The instruction told me to stop adding the substance when the brown solution turns pale yellow. I kept on adding but the solution only turned light brown. My mind went haywired that time.I looked around. The pupils also had the same problem as me.I poured away the solution and started to re-do.Once again, the solution did not turn pale yellow.I decided to carry on with the experiment. Both my readings for the titration were 23.9 cm cube, same as Kah Boon who sat beside me.Then, there was a 5 marks question to plan an experiment to test for nitric acid, hydrochloric acid and sulphuric acid. I buzzed my way through. The second experiment was even more 'head-breaking'.All the tests that I did did not produce a visible reaction.Hence,I had to boil the solution to test for gas.The first part should be a compound consists of nitrate, because ammonia gas was produced upon heating. The second one should be calcium carbonate because effervescence was formed and the solution turned milky which shows that carbon dioxide was present.

Asyraff and Syafiq were among the many pupils who were frustrated with the experiment.I remained calm but was doubtful.Mrs Chow had marked the Chemistry Prelim paper and she told us that we did badly. Some of the students met her to know their mistakes.Asyraff,Nuqman,Nazreen,Kiong and I went to the new Sheng Siong to eat.Asyraff and I ate 2 thosai each.We ordered cheese pratas as we were not full.I walked home with Naz and Nuqman.I was slacking throughout the afternoon.Really nothing better to do.The song I composed today seemed sucks except the chorus.I'll modify it next time.Last night,I watched music videos on YouTube. The band Funeral For A Friend is coming to Singapore.Their videos are really nice and I like some songs but most songs are too hardcore.Linkin Park is also coming to Singapore on Nov 13,the last day of O Level. But the tickets prices are too expensive.I'm still considering...

Physics Prelim Practical Exam

The Physics practical was so confusing initially but as i went on,I find it quite manageable overall. We did on two experiments - electricity and mass, density and volume.I did the question on electricity first.I used the voltmeter to measure the voltage but the needle did not deflect to the positive side.It took me 10 minutes to figure out the problem.Luckily,Mr Tan BC told me to switch the wires the other way round and I could carry on with the experiment.I managed to plot the graph almost perfectly to find the gradient. Then,we had a switchover. The second experiment was quite simple.Once we went out of the lab,we compared answers and so on.It was the 4I 's turn to do their practical then.Kok Kiong,Nazreen,Nuqman and I went to eat at the new coffeeshop at Gek Poh.All of us ate Mee Siam.I played PS2 as usual when I reached home and then did revision as per normal.Once again, I managed to compose another song in the late afternoon.I did it within 30 minutes and play it out using my keyboard. Then I had dinner and now here I am.Tomorrow I'll be having Chemistry practical. What I hate about it is that we will have to wash the apparatus before the switchover. All the best to myself tomorrow. Haaisshh...I didn't meet her for two days...so lonely

I love this song!

First you say you won't,Then you say you will

You keep me hanging on,and we're not moving on

I'm standing still,Jenny

You got me on my knees,Jenny

Is killing me...

Another boring and rainy day at home.My mum told me to tidy the house before she went to work in the morning. That's one of the disadvantages of having school holidays.Early in the morning,I brushed my dirty and muddy school shoes and hoped that they would dry but the wet weather caused them not to dry until now.I will have Physics practical exam tomorrow and I will heat the shoes in the microwave oven if they have not dried. After I had fried rice for lunch,I decided to go to the CC to study and see her but it rained heavily. After waiting for so long,I changed my mind to study at home.I was disappointed that Aston Villa defeated Chelsea 2-0 last night.Frank Lampard is injured and therefore it was inevitable that Chelsea would not win but I expected at least a draw. After doing revision thoroughout the whole afternoon,I decided to have a nap.Suddenly, a rhythm came to my mind and I managed to compose another song. The song seems to sound nice when I sang it.It is entitled Sweptaway. After O Level, I will play those songs and create a album of my own.I'm looking forward to the future but I want to clear O Level first.I hope that tomorrow's practical exam will go on smoothly for me.It is possible to get full marks.I'll try my best to be accurate avoid mistakes.Time management is also important.

we're NOT empty

Sunday, September 02, 2007

I woke up at 10 today in the morning.I spent my time last night changing my blogskin. Not in Spider-man mood now though I'm his fan.I only like 2 songs from the new Click Five album - Jenny and Empty. The rest are not my taste.I played PS2 after breakfast and at noon,I went to study at the CC to revise for History.I have forgotten some of the content. It was boring and the cold temperature in that room made me wanted to sleep BUT one glance at her suddenly made my eyes open wide.I ate KFC during the break and continued to study till 6.30pm.Daphne and Shu Yi were also there.I really missed Zaki and I missed the times eating with him.Once at home, I watched TV and then had bone steak for dinner. On Tuesday,I will have Physics Prelim practical and Chemistry the following day.11 more days to the fasting month but I'm not in Hari Raya mood this year. It's alright.Doing well for O Level is my priority at the moment.

Maybe we're trying,
Trying to hold....
Maybe we're torn apart
Maybe the timing is beating our hearts...
We're empty...

HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY!
but I'm sorry that I didn't go to Pioneer Primary today. It was because of the location and also because of the urgency to renew my passport.Teachers' Day celebration was fine today. We started the day with Rev-up.I didn't put my best effort and clocked 20 minutes for the run. Then, the celebration was held in the hall.Vivien Phang the 'chicken rice' kept disturbing me but I managed to remain cool. Mrs Thio won the outstanding contribution award. She really deserved it.However as Ms Agnes Teo was saying the contributions made by Mrs Thio,I saw many students with their head down or were talking.Honestly,I felt her speech was boring but couldn't those people show some respect? The microphone was not loud enough for me to hear an therefore I couldn't enjoy the show. Once again, the SC presented a High School Musical performance.Zac Efron is handsome but I'm jealous that he has been to close to Venessa.Well, that didn't matter much.Up next,we had the games between students and teachers.Nuqman,Kiong and I were told by Mr Ramesh to be the commentators for the soccer match. However, the microphones were not working and we had to use loudhailers throughout the game.I don't think that many people could hear us but it's Ok.The teachers won 2-0 against the students. In 2005, FC Phatt-Lion won 2-1 against the teachers.

After that, I took 185 home to have a rest.I didn't realised that it is Friday today and I didn't go for prayer. What a sin. Then, my family cmae home and told me to follow them to the ICA Building to renew my siblings and my passports.Today is the last day for the people to do whatever with their passports and the place was very crowded! I accompanied my siblings to take photo and then waited for our turn to submit the application forms which took almost 4 hours. While waiting, I was so hungry that I wanted to go Zam-Zam to eat. I wasn't familiar with the place and I didn't even know the distance for me to walk from the ICA building to Arab Street. My brother followed me.Finally we were in Baghdad Street but we seemed to be lost.Fortunately,I saw Masjid Sultan and we had reached our destination. We ate murtabak and bought Nasi Briyani for my mum and sister. We were settled with our passports at 7.45pm.We took MRT to JP and my dad fetched us from there. Then we had dinner at 815 coffee house. Here I am at home with 52 days left to O Level.I'll going to continue my revision tomorrow....because her appearance makes me addicted to study

Thursday, August 30, 2007

There's no exam for tomorrow because of teachers' day.It has been raining heavily these few days and there are floods that occur in central Singapore. Some of the South Korean hostages were released by Taliban.A lot more issues are being raised.By the way I had my Mother Tongue Prelim exam just now.Quite OK but I'm aiming for distinction. After that,Hamizan,Raja,Zaki and I ate Kenny's cafe but as we were about to go home,it began to rain heavily.I had to call my mum to fetch me because the rain lasted for many hours.Once at home,I played PS2 after a long time without doing so.There will be rev-up tomorrow and I know that I have not been exercising for the past few weeks except during PE lesson. There are many pimples on my face because of stress despite washing it with cleanser everyday.I don't mind about that during this crucial period.I really want to make full use of this holiday to do revision.I want to do the 3 sets of thick POA study pack and I really hope to get A1 for POA.

I would like to wish all teachers a

HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY!

....in advance.

P.S. I suddenly remember that I was the emcee for this event last year! hAHA

Thursday, August 23, 2007

I'm so exhausted today after taking English Paper 1 and Physics Paper 2.Last night,I went home at 10pm after revising Physics at the CC.I went there at about 4pm and without realising it,it was already late.I did the essay on Prejudice for Section One and I was surprised that we had to write a feature article for situational writing.Damn,I forgot to add the sub-heading!Zaki wrote a report instead and Ms Chen strangled him.During recess,I ate quickly and did a final recap on Physics. The paper was slightly easier than I expected.I was expecting a much difficult paper but overall, I could manage most of the questions except on the heat energy. That costed 5 marks to be deducted.

Then my gang went to buy bubble teas at Pearl's Delight before taking 185 home.As for now I'm taking a break for a while.Later I will be going to the CC to revise for Maths and Social Studies.I want to get A2 for Maths this Prelim.I know how much practices I had so far and I want to avoid careless mistakes.I would have gotten a high B3 for Maths Mock Exam if I did not have careless mistakes.I got 64.5% instead, which is better than mid-year.Ms Chia expects me to get A1 for POA.I really hope that it is realistic because I have been doing many POA questions and have mastered the Double Entry.I'm reaching for that.I'm still doubtful about Chemistry.Mr Patrick Tan gave me,Nazreen,Nuqman,Asyraff and Kiong many sets of exam papers from the top schools.I had difficulties in doing those questions.

OK,time to get back for revision!

...and I can't wait to see her!

Ok ,get rid of her off my mind at the moment...

Saturday, August 18, 2007

Things are getting more difficult as days go by.Just about 8 more weeks to sit for the Event of the year.Next week is Prelim.Fasting month is coming.I will have to be mentally, emotionally and physically prepared for these two months.I can only enjoy myself after November 13.I still have not master my Source-based skills. My comprehension seem to be weak despite practising on past years exam papers.A bit concern.

This morning I had Chemistry practical lesson. For the first time in 3 years,I broke a test-tube but I got a replacement for that.We did the experiment to test for oxidising agent.Quite difficult though and I was clumsy sometimes. It rained heavily when we were dismissed at 11am.Nazreen,Kiong, Asyraff,Nuqman and I went to Jurong Point. They ate atBanquet while I went to Popular to buy stationery.I went home quickly as Raja wanted to go to the gym but he cancelled it.I had lunch and a shower before going to the CC.The weather today caused me to feel sleepy.I did Maths , Social Studies ,History and Physics till 8.15pm! Her presence enabled me to sustain my mental stamina. If she didn't came,I would have gone home earlier. At least I could fight myopia by staring blankly at her.Haha! Hope to see her again tomorrow.Nevermind about that because studying is my priority.I missed Zaki.I mean I missed the times I spent eating with him.

O Level EL Oral! My Reflection

My oral exam had ended in the afternoon just now.It went on smoothly for me and the theme for today is family. Both examiners were male.Okay let's talk about the events before the oral.Lessons went as per normal for History.During Chemistry,Mrs Betty Chow taught us about condensation polymerisation. So far I can understand what she had taught.During recess I managed to eat rice though some bastards cut the queue. We did map-reading during Geography and had a Algebra test during Maths. The weather is wet but I still went to the mosque, praying that I could do well for oral. The candidates were supposed to assemble in the hall at 2pm and the oral would start at 2.30pm but I ended the prayer at 2pm.I waited for more than 15 minutes for the bus to arrive. At that time I was panicking that I would be late and I was the first person to be tested.I was so kiasu when I boarded the bus.Fortunately I reached school at 2.20pm.
I was the first one to start.Mr Clarke timed me 10 minutes for me to practise and study the picture. The picture shows an old neighbourhood with a group of senior citizens chatting with each other and at the same time, their grandchildren are with them.I begun to predict the questions that would come out for the conversation part.
Here are the questions that were asked:
(Picture discussion)
1.Why do you think the people are gathering around the table?
2.What do you think the child sitting on the table is thinking?
3.There is a boy carrying a plastic bag.Where do you think he is going?
(Conversation)
1.Who took care of you when you were young?
2.Talk about the memory during your pre-school days.
3.What are the advantages of being away from your family e.g studying oversea?
4.Is it important to keep in touch with your relatives?

I did not realised how long I took.I thanked the examiners and wished them a nice day. They replied and wished me a good day! I saw that the examiner wrote the number 13 on one of the columns after I had completed the conversation.I saw that but I don't know whether was it my mark for conversation of anything else.Conversation is 16 marks.I hope that that 13 sould be the score for my conversation part.I wasn't sure about my reading and picture conversation but I knew that I had tried my best.I read the passage with emotion and passion and emphasised on the end of each word.I am hoping for a distinction for this oral. The topic was quite manageable. The other candidates told me that I was the only one who took the longest time.I am sorry for that but it's okay. The oral exam is over and I have to focus more on the other papers.Prelim is coming next week.Treat it like the real O Level. It is a gauge on how prepared I am for O Level. My maths is getting better and better but I'm aiming for A2.
After that, I met Raja,Zaki and hamizan outside the HOD room. They told me that Eunice Olsen had not come at that time.I don't know why but I was eager to see her. Then ,Daphne and Hui Min sat on our table and we talked and reflected about the oral exam.

O LEVEL ENGLISH ORAL EXAM IS TOMORROW!

All I hope for this oral is a distinction. There is no second chance for English exam, unlike Mother Tongue.I will retake the MT paper again as I was disappointed for getting only a B4.I thought that I could do better but that result won't affect my mood to do well for oral.I had oral practices with Mr Samuel and Ms Chen at 6pm in school just now.I will have to be confident, relaxed and avoid arrr... or errr...hmmm whatever. My reading is fine but my concern is on conversation.I can't predict the theme that will come out tomorrow.I have to be armed with the little that I know.My friends who had their oral today said that it was easy and the theme was sport, which I would be able to talk more about it.

I had enough of making mistakes.I hope that the oral exam will go on smoothly for me.I'll try my best to impress the examiners and make my speech interesting.I'll be the first person tomorrow to start.I got 39/40 for Prelim but I'm not complacent.I know that it will not be easy but I can't wait to see the passage and picture. All the best to myself and aim for DISTINCTION!
Oh no,I'll have to go for prayer tomorrow and rush back to school by 2pm....

What a National Day!

Naz and Raja at Parkway Square

After this picture was taken, a security guard came and we ran away.

The horrible condition after the parade

What a terrible yet memorable day! I had just came back from the city where there was many people congesting the MRT stations, shopping malls and also the pavements.Naz,Raja and I met up at 2.30pm and then we ate at Zam-Zam at Arab Street till we were full. Then we went to Parkway Square to take some photos at the statues.Suddenly, a security guard shouted we fled all the way out. We also went to Bugis Junction to meet Zaki. From there,we headed to City Hall. The place was crowded, roads were closed and the police ensured that the people do not jaywalk across the roads.Almost all the ideal locations to watch the parade were already filled with spectators. We saw Mdm Azlina with her husband while sitting opposite the OneFullerton.Zaki kept calling the 4H girls and we decided to join them. They were eating at KFC at Suntec City.Zaki had not eaten at that time and so he ate while the rest of us had a drink each.Royston, Kin Toh and Rasyidah were with them. After eating, most of them went home.Melissa told me to record the fireworks on my camera. It was spectacular but I wished I was in a better location where there's no building blocking my view. The rest went home immediately after that except for Nazreen,Raja and myself who wanted to meet up with Syahiran,Kiong and Zufaidi at Bugis. We roamed around Bugis Street to look for nice clothings and ornaments. At 11 plus, Naz,Raj and me took MRT home. I saw Elise at the MRT station. It was a tired day that the three of us sat down on the floor of the train. I didn't even had a glimpse of the parade.
